Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 27, 2026 · Version 1.0

The short version

  • You can play every game without an account. Accounts aren’t available yet.
  • We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies or trackers on this site.
  • Game progress and Island Pass points are stored in your own browser (local storage).
  • Nothing can be bought on Idle Isle, and we don’t collect payment details.
  • Idle Isle is for people 13 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Who we are

Idle Isle (“we”, “us”) runs this website and the games on it. Contact: idleisle.games@gmail.com.

Playing as a guest

Everyone plays as a guest for now. Games save your progress, settings, Island Pass points, badges, achievements and “recently played” list in your browser’s local storage on your device. This data isn’t sent to us. You can delete it any time with “Reset guest progress” on the Island Pass page, or by clearing your browser’s site data.

Like any website, our hosting provider, Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), may process basic technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We don’t use it to build profiles, and we don’t combine it with other data.

If we add accounts

Accounts aren’t available yet, so we don’t collect emails, passwords or names. If we add them, they’ll be optional and free, and only for people 13 and older. If you create one, we’ll store:

  • Email address, for sign-in, password resets and essential account messages. No marketing unless you opt in.
  • Password, stored only as a secure one-way hash. We can’t see it.
  • Display name that you choose. Please don’t use your real name. Display names go through a word filter and may appear on your profile.
  • Game data: Island Pass points, achievements, cosmetic rewards and game saves you choose to sync.
  • Basic security records, such as sign-in times, kept for a short period to protect your account.

To check eligibility, sign-up will ask for your birth month and year. We’ll use it once and won’t store your birth date. We’ll only keep a record that you confirmed you are 13 or older.

Retention and deletion. We’ll keep account data while your account is active. You’ll be able to delete your account from your profile at any time, and we’ll then delete your account data within 30 days, except for anything we must keep by law. Accounts inactive for 24 months may be deleted after an email notice.

We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for targeted advertising. We use service providers (such as hosting) only to run the service, under terms that limit their use of the data. We’ll update this policy before accounts open, including the providers we use.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

Idle Isle is intended for users 13 and older. Because there are no accounts, sign-ups or forms, we don’t collect personal information from players of any age. Guest progress stays on your device. If we add accounts, sign-up will use a neutral age screen, people under 13 won’t be able to create an account, and they can keep playing as a guest.

If we learn that we’ve collected personal information from a child under 13, we’ll delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe this happened can contact us at idleisle.games@gmail.com.

Purchases (in the future)

Nothing can be bought on Idle Isle today. If we add a shop, payments will be handled by a payment processor. We won’t see or store your full card number. We’ll keep a record of what you bought, when, and the amount, so we can deliver items, process refunds and meet legal obligations. We’ll update this policy before any shop opens.

Your choices and rights

  • Clear guest data at any time from the Island Pass page or your browser settings.
  • Questions or privacy requests: email idleisle.games@gmail.com.
  • Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights (for example under GDPR or US state privacy laws). Contact us and we’ll help.

Security

The site is served only over HTTPS, and we keep access to our systems limited. No system is perfectly secure.

Changes

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date.
